The Orkney Furniture Maker has an ever growing range of unique Orkney tables which are designed to compliment the Orkney Chair.  His table tops feature quality local produce giving them a traditional look which brings a piece of Orkney into any home.

Table designs are available with a choice of top.  Orkney Stone, which is quarried from  a fossil bed on the islands, creates a contrasting touch to any table design.  All pieces of stone have their own unique markings which adds to the individuality of each table.  For a more traditional look, hand-woven seagrass under clear glass can also be used.  This option incorporates the same woven tops as The Orkney Furniture Makers' stool range but with the practicality of a glass top making it an ideal table with a modern, natural feel.

 Orkney tables can be made in any size to suit the customers requirements and from a variety of different woods.  Generally, The Orkney Furniture Maker uses oak or mahogany but other timbers such as American black walnut are also available on request.  All tables are finished using the finest furniture oils and waxes to give a natural, hard wearing finish. 

Specially commissioned orders for tables are very welcome and designs can be discussed with The Orkney Furniture Maker himself to ensure that the perfect piece is created. To the satisfaction of the customer. 

Orders for Orkney Tables can be placed through this website via our enquiries e-mail address, enquiries@orkneyfurniture.co.uk.  To secure orders, a 20% deposit is required prior to the work being started and customers are advised that there is usually a waiting period as all items are hand-made to order.
